What does it cost to use Renit?
It costs nothing to list on Renit. We only make money when someone rents your item from our platform. We take 10% of a rented item sale price. We use our fee to pay for marketing, advertising, and running our platform.
What if my rental gets damaged?
When setting up an account, within the inventory setup form, you can set a security amount. When buyer places order, the defined security amount is charged and subsequently refunded upon the return of the item. Sellers have flexibility to choose between a complete refund, partial refund, or no refund. We strongly encourage all of our Renit listings to have insurance and the paperwork covered for any damages that could accrue.
How do I get paid when using Renit?
We will collect all money from rented items. Take out our Renit fee & pay you within 3 business days.
What if my rental does not get returned?
We will have contact information for all Renit users. We recommend you collect contact information as well.
How long will my listing be available?
We will leave all listings to be available for 1 yr. It can be renewed indefinitely. Any listing can be removed any time if you no longer want to rent your item out.
How do I pay for my rental?
You will pay Renit directly. We take payment with any debit card, credit card or Venmo.
